Candace Howze

Candace HowzeCandace Howze is a writer and multimedia artist born in the Buckeye state who now lives in North Carolina. Her poems have been published in Quiet Circle Magazine, Bop Dead City, Cellar Door, Yellow Chair Review, and Glass Poetry Press. Candace holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and recently self-published her first chapbook, Letters About Losing You. She is the recipient of a 2017 Ella Fountain Pratt Emerging Artist Grant. When she’s not writing, Candace enjoys photography, film, volunteering, attending arts and sporting events, and freshly baked desserts.
